Clone / Look-a-like Watermaid Cells.

It has been common practice for many years for chlorinator manufacturers to produce replica cells to suit other well known brand name chlorinators. Watermaid Pty Ltd also manufactures cells to suit the more popular brand name chlorinators.

Unfortunately, other manufacturers do not have the same reasons for manufacturing these cells. When Watermaid manufactures a replica replacement cell to suit another brand, it does so in the best interests of the consumer, to ensure a long productive, trouble free life from the cell and customer satisfaction. That is why we guarantee all our cell for a period of five years.

Other manufacturers have unfortunately "cut corners" in the manufacture of their replica cells and have used sub-standard materials. The Pictures below show just two examples of "Non Genuine" Watermaid Cells that have both failed after only 18 months and 22 months.

The most annoying part for the customers involved was the fact that they thought they were buying a Genuine Watermaid cell and were told they had a five year warranty, only to find out the cell they purchased was not a Genuine Watermaid Cell and that theirs only had a 12 month warranty.

Buyers Beware and ensure that you are purchasing a Genuine Watermaid Replacement Cell, that it bears the Watermaid Logo, and a warranty stamp date.
