The WATERMAID WATER TREATMENT UNIT is an Electro Chlorinator for Cooling Towers that produces its own on-site chlorine for the cooling tower by converting naturally occurring salts contained in the makeup water of a cooling tower water system, into Chlorine.

The water is electrolysed by the Watermaid Cell. As this happens, 100% available chlorine is produced (Sodium Hypochlorite, NaOCl, Liquid Chlorine) for the cooling tower water circuit. Sodium Hypochlorite is chlorine in a usable form which sterilises and purifies the water.
